This year Rodrigo Mendoza celebrates 20 years as a Playwright and Stage Director directing more than 30 professional plays to date. Rodrigo has won awards for the best guideline initiation, best direction and best work APT. He also has participated in acting and has received 54 awards as an actor although he is more focused on other musical and theatrical endeavours. He already has an important career in Radio, Cinema, TV and Theater.

He has been Resident Director at the CNT (National Theater Company), has directed plays for the National Fine Arts Theater Company and has given classes in some of the most important theater schools in Mexico (College of Theater within the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM, CEFAT (Azteca TV), Center for Artistic Training of the ANDA, M and M Studio, ProArt and founded AMACALONE(Forum for Experimental Theatre).

Rodrigo Mendoza has international recognition and awards such as Arts International, Masters in Theater, International Institute of Arts, Spoleto State Festival Special Award Italy, The Rockefeller Foundation, FONCA, APT, Bancomer cultural trust, and others. Currently, his work with Alejandro Jodorowsky's Game We All Play is on the billboard with the production of Sergio Gabriel. He has written four long works, 21 short works, two operas and two musicals, one of them for children and that gave functions to family homes within the State of Mexico and CDMX.
